Certified Nutritional Consultant and an advanced Ho’oponopono Healing Practitioner
Jaime Giroux’s journey to a lifestyle of health and wellness began when she was an adolescent, adopting a vegetarian lifestyle as a child due to her love and compassion for animals. While she was raised by a single mother, and was of the generation of children who were bombarded with TV dinners and processed foods, she realized at an early age the detriment this lifestyle had on her physical, mental and spiritual health. Over the years she tried many diets, cleanses, and natural beauty products, thus educating herself along the way and learning to distinguish ‘fad’ from ‘healing’.
Jaime has been a self-starter and entrepreneur since graduating high school. Her entrepreneurial spirit drove her to begin her business in the salon industry when she was only 17. Her involvement in the beauty industry spawned a natural progression into the health and wellness sector – drawing on the connection of ‘beauty from the inside out’. Realizing that “we are what we eat”, Jaime developed an insatiable thirst for nutritional knowledge and began studying and reading everything she could find on the subject. She is always searching for ways to improve our diet and our health, hence enhancing one’s natural beauty. Through this quest, she eventually realized that ‘true’ beauty is depicted as a healthy individual, free of physical, emotional, and spiritual toxins in one’s life. This passion led her to not only become a nutritional advocate, but also a Certified Nutritional Consultant and an advanced Ho’oponopono Healing Practitioner.
It has become Jaime’s mission to educate the public about the impact food has on our health and the necessity of clean eating and living for the sustainability of our bodies and our planet. She believes that “we have surpassed a time in our world where what was once considered convenient and beneficial is largely, if not solely, responsible for the ever growing health crisis we are experiencing. Our conveniences and our technology are literally killing us. We have to take a step back and change our thinking when it comes to our food and our health. We must find a way to merge the conveniences of our modern lifestyle with the fundamentals from our ancestors that have gone by the wayside. Locally grown, organic, NON-GMO food is imperative if we want to take back control of the health of our bodies, communities and planet.” Today, her strong knowledge of nutrition’s role in the body is an integral part of the Sustainable Synergy / Seed2Source’s mission and standards.
Her concern over public obsession with preserving youth at all costs, thus people resorting to the use of toxic injected substances, led her to seek out a more holistic alternative to anti-aging skin treatments. She discovered a revolutionary, non-invasive, skin-tightening treatment capable of delivering results similar to surgery and fillers without the use of any toxic substances. She is now among the first to be certified as a Plasma Fibroblast technician in the United States.
As a member of Executive Management team, she is involved with corporate growth initiatives including, but not limited to: strategic planning and partnerships; marketing and product development; and trend analysis while integrating sustainability and green practices into corporate business models, products/service offerings, and media communications. She is also called upon as the in-house IT expert, which she also extends to others in need.
Of note, in 2008, Jaime was an integral part of the Sustainable Synergy team that produced and promoted the largest green living and sustainable business expo in the Southeast, the Green Earth Expo, which was held at the Orange County Convention Center, in Orlando, FL.
Since 2013, she has been devoted to running Sustainable Synergy’s partner company, One Tribe Wellness, and the expansion of the EssenceSEA product line, which she worked in tandem to develop with one of the team’s beloved clients, the late Dr. Ron Cusson. Since his passing, she has stepped into the roles of both CEO and COO of One Tribe Wellness Distribution Inc, as well as taking on many other roles and responsibilities.
