ADAM WRIGHT
Director Of Operations, The Villages Grown™ Together With Seed2Source™
Marketing, Innovation, and Media Relations
Founder; Managing Partner, Sustainable Synergy™, Seed2Source, Corporation

Adam Wright, is a 4th Generation resident to New Smyrna Beach, Florida. He was raised in his parent's Real Estate Law Office; a community where both his grandfathers were Contractors building the Homes and Developments of the iconic New Smyrna Beach. Finding his way, Wright spent a semester at Embry Riddle in the Fall of 2001. He went on to receive his Bachelor of Arts in Fine Arts - Digital Arts from Stetson University in Deland, Florida, with a background in Marketing and Art History.

Wright furthered his project management and design skills through a Project Management Program at Stetson University, and later Freehand Drawing at the University of Washington Fall Architecture Program. While in Seattle, he was immersed into the food and arts culture. He had the opportunity in 2011 to witness Seattle History with being able to draw the first day of the de-construction of the Seattle Alaskan Way Viaduct .

Wright’s surfing and aviation background started young, while becoming a surfer at age 5 and an EAA Young Eagle at age 8. His surfing and design skills caught the attention of Greg Arnette, a leader in the Action Sport Design and Marketing industry; whom is the founder of Arnette (Optical Illusions) Eyewear and former co-founder of Oakley’s Eyewear/Marketing divisions. As an understudy to Arnette at age 13, Wright quickly became trained in handcrafted prototypes for eyewear and product design as well as developing innovative marketing.

Arnette quickly utilized Adam into his design and development business that consulted for many global brands in the Action Sports and Aviation industries. His training with Mr. Arnette also included working in Arnette’s commercial aviation services, Co-Piloting Arnette in his Amphibious Turbine Cessna 208 Caravan, and unique Turbine MD-600 NOTAR (NO Tail RotAR) Helicopter frequently contracted with the Government. In addition, Adam assisted and mentored under the mechanics from/ or certified by  Cessna and MD in the overhaul and maintenance of his aircraft getting to see the skin pulled back first hand.

During this time Wright produced marketing videos, marketing materials, logos, as well as sports and aviation prototypes, and staging for Arnette’s clients. Wright produced Raw Video for corporate boat companies hanging off the skid’s of the helicopter while using a Coast Guard Harness for action video. Wright also assisted Arnette piloting numerous Local, State, National, and International Government Officials, Fortune 500 leaders, and Celebrities for various destinations and events. Both Arnette and Wright were also active in the community as volunteers for the New Smyrna Beach Police Department Special Response Team.

Stetson and it’s Digital Arts Program is recognized for fostering collaborations and hybrid forms of visual art, music composition and programming of which stretch the boundaries of artistic practice. Perhaps his most pivotal experience at Stetson was his Senior year taking a ground-breaking food Science course in 2005. This course changed Wright’s entire outlook on Food, and the extreme effects of processed foods in America and the effects not only us, but our future's children. It was his first view into "Nutrigenomics"
. Nutrigenomics is the study of the effects of food and food constituents on gene expression. Fast-forward Thirteen-years 2018; Wright and his collegues are providing nutrient-dense superfoods to Stetson University!

Upon graduation, Wright began working in the high-end boutique eyewear manufacturing industry in Italy under the Baines family. Located in Northern Italy, he apprenticed and worked in Italy’s leading eyewear factories for over 4 years. Within these factories, he assisted in the development of top Action Sports and Boutique Eyewear Brands, as well as house brands. He learned firsthand the process of developing raw materials into world-class eyewear thanks to the Baines. Wright was tasked with Quality Control to uphold brand values for B2B customers. He became known for having ‘Eagle Eyes’. Wright was further trained in marketing eyewear by attending trade shows in Milan, Paris, and in New York City, where he assisted the Baines in the consulting of displays/booth designs.

While living in Italy, the Baines (TAVAT Eyewear)  provided the means and opportunity for Wright to live in several prominent Slow-Food Agriturismos in the Dolomites of Prosecco (Grappa) Country. Agriturismo are house/apartment/small hotels with a farm-to-table business structure. This type of ‘agri-tourism’ model helps farmers supplement their business throughout the year, while allowing guests to partake in the farming experience. Wright became immersed in a true family-style, farm-to-table lifestyle that was founded by the Italians, and it’s local food movement called, “Slow Food”. Slow Food has spread across the globe and is becoming increasingly prevalent throughout the US.
